German developer Viridi RE Group has announced an agreement to sell a 116-MWp portfolio of solar projects in Spain to Swiss power producer and energy trader Axpo Holding AG.
The portfolio includes two projects: the 65-MWp Agata and the 51-MWp Zafiro, both located in Spain's southern Cordoba province. Further details of the transaction were not provided.
Viridi RE, a company specializing in the development and construction of photovoltaic projects, has been active in Spain since 2006. According to its website, the company has completed or is currently building 115 solar plants, with a total capacity of 33.8 MWp. Additionally, Viridi RE is developing a pipeline of 18 projects, with a potential combined capacity of 1,867 MWp.
