French developer ZE Energy has successfully secured assetco financing for a solar-plus-storage project currently under construction in southwestern France, aiming for a capacity of 77 MWp.
The financing was facilitated by Sienna Investment Managers (IM) through its Predirec ENR 2 fund, as announced in a press statement on Thursday.
This hybrid facility, located in the Vert commune within the Landes department, will incorporate a utility-scale, ground-mounted solar plant along with a 14.8-MW/33.5-MWh lithium-ion battery energy storage system (BESS). Upon completion, expected in early 2025, the site will connect to the local utility Enedis's grid.
Additionally, the Vert hybrid park has secured a power purchase agreement (PPA) with French telecommunications company Orange SA, further enhancing its operational viability.
