Absolute Clean Energy Public Company (ACE) has secured Power Purchase Agreements for 15 ground-mounted solar energy projects in Thailand.
To be noted, ACE is a leading player in Thailand’s clean energy sector.
According to the company, the projects will have a combined capacity of 92.73 MW. The projects are set to open for commercial operation between 2024 and 2025.
The 15 solar projects are located in ten provinces, while the PPAs will have a 25-year term.
The latest development is followed by the Energy Regulatory Commission’s announcement which designated 14 of ACE’s subsidiaries as winners of a bid for renewable energy projects, a local report mentioned. In total, they had secured a total of 18 projects with a combined capacity of 112.73 MW.
Besides, ACE has three projects with a combined capacity of 20 MW scheduled for SCOD in 2027.
Teerawut Songmetta, Chief Technology and Innovation Group Officer of ACE, shared that the company is constructing various power plants.
Currently, ACE has a total installed capacity of over 652.64 MW, including 23 open COD projects with 257.57 MW and 68 projects under development with more than 395.07 MW.
The company has an aim to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
