Fox ESS Launches Power Beast to Simplify C&I Energy Storage Deployment

Fox ESS has officially launched Power Beast, an integrated commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage solution, at its 2026 new product launch event in Wenzhou, China.

Held on September 21, the event marked Fox ESS’s first large-scale product launch in the Asia-Pacific region and brought together more than 200 distributors, installers, technical experts and industry representatives.

Power Beast combines the 125 kW H3 Plus hybrid inverter with CQ-series high-voltage batteries, together with the Mega Link integrated cabinet, AI Link Pro EMS platform and FoxCloud 2.0 cloud-based energy management system.

Flexible and Scalable

With modular configurations, Power Beast can cover capacities from 28 kWh to nearly 1,000 kWh using a single H3 Plus inverter. The system supports rooftop, indoor and outdoor applications.

For larger installations, up to 100 systems can be connected in parallel in grid-connected mode, reaching a total capacity of up to 96 MWh. In off-grid mode, up to 30 systems can be connected, with total capacity reaching 28.8 MWh.

Simplified Installation

Power Beast adopts a modular, plug-and-play design intended to reduce on-site installation complexity. Fox ESS states that the solution can reduce installation time by up to 90%.

During the launch event, an installation team assembled eight CQ20 modules, 12 CQ7 modules and 12 CQ6 modules, totaling 316 kWh, together with the H3 Plus inverter and connections to charging piles, a diesel generator and motor, in less than 30 minutes.

High Performance and Safety

Power Beast can integrate multiple energy sources and loads, including PV systems, EV chargers and diesel generators. The CQ20 battery achieves a reported weight of approximately 7 kg/kWh, while the system supports grid-to-off-grid switching in as little as 10 milliseconds.

Fox ESS has also incorporated a multi-layer safety architecture covering battery cells, electrical components, structural protection, active detection and emergency response.

Intelligent Energy Management

Power Beast integrates with FoxCloud 2.0, Fox ESS’s digital energy management platform, providing real-time system monitoring, flexible scheduling with up to 96 time periods, and energy-flow and performance analysis.

The platform also incorporates an AI assistant designed to support product and installation inquiries and generate energy optimization strategies based on historical consumption patterns and dynamic electricity prices.

With Power Beast, Fox ESS is expanding its product portfolio beyond residential energy storage into the C&I segment, combining modular hardware, simplified deployment and digital energy management for applications ranging from individual commercial sites to larger industrial parks.
