From January to August 2025, Germany’s C&I energy storage sector recorded 87 MW / 193 MWh of newly installed capacity, representing a year-on-year growth of around 11%.
Notably, installations continued to climb from June to August, with August alone reaching 36 MWh, the highest monthly addition so far this year. As Europe’s most industrialized economy, Germany’s C&I energy storage market is still at an early stage, but with supportive policies and rising electricity price volatility, the sector is expected to see significant growth potential in the coming years.
