Grenergy Renovables to develop a 36.7-MW solar farm project in Spain

Spanish renewable company Grenergy Renovables SL is all set to develop a 36.7-MW/43.37-MWp solar farm project in Spain.

The company has already received a construction permit for the project, which will be located in the municipality of Ayora region of Valencia.

According to the company, the Chambo plant will be a part of the 172-MWp Ayora complex with three other solar farms. The company plans to install over 115,600 bifacial photovoltaic modules mounted on 1,377 trackers in the plant. It might also install a control system.

The cost of the project is estimated to be EUR 22.4 million (USD 24.6m).

Grenergy has several solar farm development plans in Spain. Earlier this year, it had inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Amazon.com from Ayora and several other plants.
