Ingeteam Service has signed a new contract with Statkraft to provide operation and maintenance services to the Talayuela II plant, located in the province of Cáceres, Extremadura. This new photovoltaic installation, which increases the portfolio operated by Ingeteam Service by 55 MW, is added to those already maintained by this client: Talayuela I, with more than 300 MW of power and also located in Cáceres, and Cabrera, with 200 MW of power and located in the province of Seville.
The signing of this new contract will also entail the hiring of specific personnel for plant maintenance tasks. In the last year, the increase in the workforce of O&M technicians in the solar sector has experienced an increase of 30%, a figure that highlights the growth that the company has been experiencing in recent years.
A new milestone that positions Ingeteam Service as a benchmark in O&M services in Spain, where it continues to grow by leaps and bounds, already reaching 6 GW of maintained solar power; more than half of the total photovoltaic power it manages worldwide, where it reaches 13 GW.
