Sungrow and be.storaged Sign Framework Agreement for Up to 1.6 GWh of German BESS Projects

Sungrow Deutschland and German energy storage developer be.storaged have signed a new framework cooperation agreement to jointly advance up to 1.6 GWh of large-scale battery energy storage projects over the next two years.

The cooperation will span the full project lifecycle, including project planning, development, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), commissioning and operational support.

The partners also intend to further standardize the development process for large-scale BESS projects, with the aim of creating a more structured approach to deploying utility-scale storage capacity in Germany.

As part of the cooperation, Sungrow will progressively introduce its PowerTitan 3.0 energy storage system across the planned project pipeline.

The agreement establishes a GWh-scale project pipeline rather than focusing on a single installation, reflecting the partners’ plans to develop multiple large-scale battery storage projects in the German market over the coming two years.
