Insolation Energy Launches Construction of 3-GW Solar PV Factory in India

INA Solar, one of India’s leading solar panel manufacturers, has announced the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located on the Delhi-Ajmer Expressway in Sawarda, Jaipur, Rajasthan. This Rs 400 crore investment is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its foothold in the renewable energy sector and expand production capabilities.
During the ceremony, INA Solar’s Chairman, Manish Gupta, and Managing Director, Vikas Jain, shared that the facility will span 109,000 square meters and feature an annual production capacity of 3GW for N-TYPE/TOPCON solar panels, along with 12,000 metric tons of aluminum frames. The project is expected to generate over 800 jobs, contributing to the region’s economic development.
Chief Technical Officer Deepak Jain emphasized INA Solar’s strong market presence, noting its listing on the BSE-SME platform and its ranking among India’s top 10 solar panel manufacturers. He also highlighted that the company’s panels meet international certification standards, including IEC, ALMM, and BIS, ensuring high quality and reliability.
INA Solar’s products are extensively used in various government initiatives such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, Kusum Schemes (A/B/C), BSNL projects, and the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, aligning with the government’s Make in India vision.
This new facility will be instrumental in advancing India’s renewable energy goals, significantly increasing the country’s solar manufacturing capacity and enabling INA Solar to meet the rising demand for clean energy solutions.
