Neosun Energy, a prominent global EPC company, has signed a contract to establish a new commercial solar plant in Sheikhupura, Pakistan. Construction is set to begin this autumn, featuring the installation of a 367 kWp solar power system.
The agreement was made with Trust Fiber LTD, and the solar facility will include nearly 600 solar panels, each with a capacity of 615Wp. This system is projected to generate around 448 MWh annually, allowing Trust Fiber Unit-I to completely eliminate its electricity costs.
Junaid Kabir, Head of Sales at Neosun Energy Pakistan, remarked, “The impact of this solar power plant extends beyond environmental benefits. It will significantly reduce operational costs for the business, leading to lower consumer prices. Solar energy addresses the high cost of electricity, making products more affordable and benefiting both manufacturers and consumers.”
Neosun Energy has recently expanded its footprint in Pakistan, opening new branches in Karachi and Lahore. This expansion enhances the company's ability to provide commercial solar panels and energy storage solutions for local industrial projects, with capacities ranging from 200 kW to 10 MW. The Neosun Pakistan team has successfully completed multiple projects in the region in a relatively short time.
Ilya Likhov, CEO of Neosun Energy, noted, “Our expansion into the Pakistani market is driven by our commitment to supporting local businesses with innovative and cost-effective solar solutions. Our international experience and extensive portfolio enable us to offer competitive pricing and high-quality service. We are confident in our ability to deliver excellent value and maintain a competitive edge in the local market.”
