NTPC Limited, acting on behalf of NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL), a collaborative venture between NTPC and SAIL, has issued an invitation for online bids through the Government e-procurement portal of NIC (GePNIC) for the development of a 15 MW Floating Solar PV Project at Maroda Reservoir-1 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope Basis, comprising Techno-Commercial Bid (Envelope-I) and Price Bid (Envelope-II).
The project’s scope entails the detailed design of a Grid Interactive Solar PV Plant, encompassing civil, electrical, and mechanical auxiliary systems. This includes the preparation of essential drawings such as foundation drawings, single line diagrams, and installation drawings, alongside electrical layouts and design calculations. The development involves the creation of a Floating Solar PV plant and the establishment of a power evacuation system, including the supply and installation of PV modules in the designated area. Additionally, the contract encompasses a three-year Operation and Maintenance (O&M) period for the solar PV plant and an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for critical equipment.
Important dates for the bidding process include the Pre Bid Conference and the last date for receiving queries on January 24, 2024. The deadline for bid submission, both Techno-Commercial and Price bids, is set for February 9, 2024, by 1400 hrs (IST), with the opening of the Techno-Commercial bid scheduled for 1500 hrs (IST) on the same day. The Cost of Bidding Documents is specified at INR 22,500.00, and all bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of INR 1,00,00,000/- (Indian Rupees One Crore only).
