Schroders Greencoat, Innova JV Acquires 28.7-MWp UK Solar Project

ISG Renewables, a joint venture of renewable energy company Innova and a fund managed by Schroders Greencoat LLP, has added to its portfolio a 28.7-MWp solar project in the West Midlands region of England.

The Newbold Pacey Solar Farm was acquired from Innova’s existing pipeline. The latter managed the site’s development and construction, a press statement said on Monday.

Previously known as Elms Farm Solar Park, the facility is located near Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. It is expected to be energised later this year and generate enough energy to power 10,616 homes annually.

The Newbold Pacey project marks the third acquisition made by ISG since its establishment in April 2023. It follows the purchase of the 10-MWp Carn Nicholas Solar Park in Wales about a year ago and the 22.6-MWp Bicker Fen facility in September 2023.
