Spanish solar developer-operator Solarpack on Thursday announced the appointment of Robert Hienz as the CEO of its German unit as it focuses on building a EUR-1-billion business in Germany.
Hienz brings over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, including leading a multi-million sales business at German energy group E.ON SE and being the CEO of The Mobility House, a smart charging solutions provider.
According to information currently available on Solarpack’s website, the company does not yet have an office or projects in Germany. It said that it wants to establish a EUR-1-billion business in the country and have a portfolio of 7 GW of multi-technology renewable energy projects and 1 GW of power purchase agreements (PPAs) signed by the end of 2026.
