TotalEnergies and Sembcorp Fuels sign 16-year LNG deal

The new deal extends the existing agreement between the two companies until 2029.

TotalEnergies has signed a sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Sembcorp Fuels, a subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, to provide up to 0.8 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually for 16 years, starting in 2027.

Under the agreement, TotalEnergies will source LNG from its global portfolio to meet Sembcorp's demand. 

The new deal extends the existing SPA between the two companies until 2029.

The companies expect the agreement to contribute to Singapore's energy security and decarbonization goals whilst also reflecting TotalEnergies' commitment to sustainability.
