Waaree Renewable Technologies has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company, a firm based in Vietnam, to collaborate on a 100 MWp solar power project.
Under the terms of the MoU, Waaree will take on the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) responsibilities for a ground-mounted solar installation, executing the project on a turnkey basis—from design to final commissioning.
The MoU was signed on June 20 at 6:00 PM, in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
This partnership marks a strategic move by Waaree Renewable Technologies to expand its global footprint in the renewable energy sector. The company clarified that this deal does not involve any related-party transaction, and no members of the promoter group hold any stake in Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company.
At present, the order value and the execution timeline have not been finalized. These details will be determined once a definitive agreement is concluded with the international client that awarded the project.
