INTEC Energy Solutions, a global renewable energy EPC contractor, has been commissioned by AUKERA, a leading European renewable energy investor, to deliver a 50 MWp solar power plant in Lachendorf, Germany.
Designed to strengthen Germany’s renewable energy infrastructure, this project marks another milestone in INTEC’s ongoing contribution to the clean energy transition. Occupying a 40-hectare site in Lower Saxony, the project will be implemented under a comprehensive EPC + O&M contract, with INTEC delivering the full scope of engineering, procurement, construction, and two-year operation & maintenance services.
INTEC’s turnkey scope includes the end-to-end supply of all major components such as modules, inverters, and transformers alongside civil and electrical works, SCADA integration, and complete construction management. The plant will utilize a fixed-mounted structure, ensuring reliable and efficient power generation.
Currently, mobilization activities are underway, with fence installation nearing completion. Once operational, the Lachendorf plant will produce approximately 50.85 GWh of green electricity per year, enough to power more than 15,780 households, while preventing approximately 18,713 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.
“The Lachendorf project highlights our commitment to high-quality, sustainable energy solutions that genuinely drive the energy transition,” said Klaus Friedl, Managing Director Germany at INTEC Energy Solutions. “Together with AUKERA, we are shaping Germany’s renewable energy future – uniting global expertise with strong local delivery.”
Kemal Keskin, Country MD Germany at Aukera stated: “Breaking ground on the 50 MWp Lachendorf solar project marks the beginning of a broader cluster that will deliver sustainable energy to Lachendorf, Lower Saxony. In partnership with INTEC Energy Solutions, we are combining global expertise with strong local delivery to accelerate Germany’s energy transition and shape a renewable future for the region.”
The project underlines INTEC and AUKERA’s commitment to advancing renewable energy through high-quality execution and sustainable design principles. Every stage of its development is guided by efficiency, reliability, and environmental responsibility, ensuring a lasting contribution to a cleaner, greener, and more resilient energy future.
