Prime Capital has concluded two financings for renewable energy assets in Europe.
The company deployed more than €350 million through junior debt financing over the past four years.
According to the company, “Prime Capital was the exclusive lender in a private bond placement financing a solar PV asset owned and operated by Münch Energie.”
It further informed that the financing is secured through more than 60 projects. Majority of these projects are located in Bavaria.
The company also did another transaction to help finance assets owned by SUNfarming Group. It was backed by a large, operational solar photovoltaic portfolio in Germany with approximately 185MW, a local report mentioned.
Andreas Kalusche, CEO at Prime Capital was quoted in a statement, “We are profoundly honoured to partner with such distinguished and accomplished developers, owners, and operators in the Renewable Energy sector. Both transactions give our clients access to stable cash flows and contribute to the energy transition.”
He further stated, “Junior debt investments in infrastructure are an excellent complement to equity investments, as they offer immediate returns and excellent visibility of returns.
The company is also exploring collaboration with both companies.
