SANY Unveils Green Mine Microgrid Solution Globally, Opening a New Chapter in Africa's Energy Revolution

On November 18th, SANY Group successfully held the "SANY Green Mine Microgrid Solution Global Launch Event" in Lusaka, Zambia. Over 100 participants attended the event, including government and enterprise representatives such as Paul C. Kabuswe, Minister of Mining of Zambia, Zhang Jian, Chairman of the Zambia Chinese Association, Wang JingJun, Chairman of the Zambia Chinese Mining Association, Dai Qinghua, Director of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Silicon Energy, Guo Ruiguang, Vice-president of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry Africa Region, Hua Shuo, SANY Ecological Partner, President of YGP Technology Company and Xu Zhongtian, Senior Deputy General Manager of SANY Group and General Manager of SANY Silicon Energy Microgrid Investment & Development Co., Ltd., along with global energy experts and international clients to witness this milestone moment in Africa's energy transition.

Prior to the conference, client representatives conducted an on-site inspection of the Chiawa Mine Microgrid Project in Zambia. They personally witnessed how SANY's microgrid system intelligently coordinates photovoltaic power, energy storage, and diesel power generation to ensure stable 24/7 power supply for the mining area. They also experienced the noise-reduced operating environment, feeling the practical value of "technology for good."

At the conference, Dai Qinghua, speaking from the perspective of the global energy transformation, provided an in-depth explanation of SANY Group's core strategy of driving sustainable development through technological innovation. He emphasised that the energy revolution is a shared mission for all humanity, and that SANY Group, through its groundbreaking technology in mine microgrid systems, has offered a practical and feasible solution for the global energy transition.

Minister Paul C. Kabuswe highly praised SANY Group's solution for providing a green transformation pathway for Africa's mining industry. Zhang Jian stated that SANY's approach demonstrates the technological prowess of Chinese enterprises, deepens China-Zambia green energy cooperation, and creates new opportunities for overseas Chinese communities. 

The Chairman of ZESCO, Zambia's power utility company, pointed out that SANY's solution can alleviate power supply pressure. If widely promoted, it will significantly improve the power supply situation in remote mining areas of Zambia. A client representative stated that the successful application of SANY's solution in the Ruida and Chiawa mines has demonstrated the enormous potential of green energy in the mining industry and pointed out the direction for sustainable development. Deng Junbo, Dean of SANY Silicon Energy Microgrid Research Institute, systematically introduced the technical core of the solution and illustrated it with the Chiawa Mine project as an example.

As the conference reached its climax, the atmosphere was enthusiastic. Under the gaze of all guests, Paul C. Kabuswe, Zhang Jian, Wang JingJun, Dai Qinghua, Guo Ruiguang, and client representatives took the stage together to launch the ceremony. This symbolic move marks the official global debut of SANY's green mine microgrid solution and heralds a new opportunity for Africa's energy transition.

At the press conference, SANY signed strategic cooperation agreements with multiple international enterprises and institutions, covering various fields such as microgrids, battery swap stations, and engineering vehicle procurement. Xu Zhongtian signed the agreements on behalf of SANY Group.
