ACME Solar Commissions 53.63MW/300MWh BESS and 66.68MW Solar Capacity in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has commissioned Phase-I of two key components of its renewable energy project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, expanding its portfolio of solar generation and battery energy storage assets.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, the company commissioned Phase-I of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) component of its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Project on September 14, 2026.

The commissioned BESS has a capacity of 53.63MW/300MWh, forming part of the project’s total planned capacity of 300MW/1,581MWh. The project is located in Village Kelan, Tehsil Chhatargarh, Bikaner district, with the commercial operation date (COD) for the commissioned BESS capacity scheduled for September 16, 2026.

Separately, through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Private Limited, ACME Solar commissioned Phase-I of a 300MW solar power project at the same location. The commissioned phase comprises 66.68MW of solar capacity, completed on September 12, with COD scheduled for September 14, 2026.

The company noted that while the BESS component of the FDRE project has been commissioned, the associated renewable energy generation capacity remains under development.

The combination of solar generation and large-scale battery storage is expected to support the delivery of reliable and dispatchable renewable power as ACME Solar continues developing the remaining components of the project.
